What your brand of beer says about you.
There’s been a lot of talk about what the beer you drink says about you. I think this is time well spent. As if we need yet another way to categorize and pigeonhole people. OK, in for a penny, in for a pound.
If you drink Bud Light, you are the President of the United States. Congratulations. If you drink Blue Moon, you are a police officer or really like the song of the same name. If you...

iPhone tumble app
I can see the convenience of posting from my phone. I just can’t see me doing my longer posts with this keyboard. iPhones are more for SMS and Twitter than extended tumbling or writing the great American novel.
I have a better idea.
Instead of $4500 cash for clunkers, how about $4500 cash for whatever the hell I actually need. You can just stop taking taxes until it equals $4500, thus making distribution easier. Or would that be too simple?

This was Stephen Colbert’s hilarious reaction to Gibbs’ statement.
I don’t care what anybody says. I love The Colbert Report. I think it’s hilarious.
Why would I want to create another tumblr blog? Nobody is reading this one.

What makes me Libertarian and, more importantly,...
Libertarian cuts a wide swath. It’s a big tent term. I won’t say it doesn’t have one unifying set of principles. It has several sets of unifying principles. To be honest, I don’t buy most of them. I’m as skeptical of the free market as I am of government. I don’t buy into free market sans government (agorism) or full government control (statism). I’m...

Why there will always be a government of some sort
We could eliminate government. All we have to do is, as one large group, cease to consent to be governed. I hope a lot of the large group is in the army because tanks and bombers are really effective at changing a person’s mind. But never mind. Today, we all decided to cease to consent to be governed. Tomorrow is here. All federal, state, and local government buildings are now really cool...

Today's proof govt is a joke.
Healthcare takes a holiday. Early news reports say that the democrats have reached consensus on a healthcare bill. Here’s the salient points:
1. Small businesses under 500 million are exempt.
2. The public option is now truly optional.
3. The bill costs 100 billion in cost, which considering the total cost of the bill is chump change.
Long story short: The government has just crafted...

This man must be listened to!
Let’s set aside the fact that I’m jealous that he can speak to a microphone. I can’t. I’m not suggesting you follow him on Twitter because he can be coherent in front of a microphone. Lots of people can do that.
I’m promoting this gentleman because his thoughts bear listening. It’s worth a few minutes of your day to listen to some...

Harry and Louise Need to Shut Up! →
Now these are a couple of people who really need to shut up. I’m not really sure what in that picture that tells me that they don’t have a healthcare issue. Typical guilty liberals who made it, feeling bad about it, and vote liberal so they feel better. Well, once all those things liberal politicians feel you won’t mind spending a little more tax money to support have their way,...
Jon Stewart is an idiot.
Jon Stewart interviewed Bill Kristol. I just watched it. Bill Kristol counters Stewart’s argument that national healthcare is a good and proper thing because we give all sorts of healthcare to soldiers. Kristol feels it’s OK to give people who serve their country in a very special way something that others do not receive.
Jon Stewart, in his bleeding heart liberal way, believes that...
Why "right" of libertarian?
The term libertarian cuts a broad swath. There are thing I like about libertarians and there are things I just can’t buy into about libertarians. I do not have an exhaustive list. If you ask me if I like a particular flavor of ice cream I can tell you but I can’t list all my favorite flavors off the top of my head.
Hopefully there will be some good discussions on tumblr and I can...
rtoflibertarian moves to tumblr
Since Twitter has seen fit to nuke all my followers, I interpreted that as the perfect time to move on to tumblr. Maybe I can join some conversations here and won’t get autoditched by everyone. I’m still keeping the possibility alive that I said something everyone hated and they all unfollowed me at once. Anything is possible.
